Two Washington Lawyers’ Committee colleagues have been recognized this week for their commitment to equity and justice.

Counsel Catherine Cone will receive the Hispanic Bar Association’s Rising Star Award. The annual award recognizes two active members of the legal profession with 10 years or less experience for principled service and outstanding contributions to the legal profession.

Legal Director Hannah Lieberman will receive the University of Pennsylvania School of Law’s Louis H. Pollak Award. The award is presented each year to an alumna/us of Penn Law who has pursued a career of advancing justice through service to others.

Both honors are very well deserved and we are proud to be their colleagues.
