WASHINGTON – The Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs announced five new members to its Board of Directors.
For more than 55 years, the Committee has been on the front line of civil rights work, fighting discrimination, repairing the damages of historic racial inequity, and breaking down barriers to opportunity. The mission is reflected in the new members in terms of diversity and expertise.
“I am thrilled to have such a distinguished group join our Board,” said Joanne Lin, executive director of the Washington Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs. “This diverse group is comprised of leaders who have a deep understanding of our issues – fair housing, workers’ rights, education justice, criminal legal system reforms, equitable access, and immigration.”
New members of the Committee Board of Directors include:

- Jonathan Su (Latham & Watkins LLP)
- Jay Williams (Orrick)
