Madeleine Gates (she/her) joined the Washington Lawyers’ Committee in January 2025 as Associate Counsel with the Workers’ Rights and Policing teams. Prior to joining WLC, Madeleine completed a fellowship with Cohen Milstein, focusing on employment and housing rights litigation. She clerked for the Hon. Sandra Lynch on the First Circuit and the Hon. Josephine Staton on the Central District of California.
