Ariel Derby joined the Washington Lawyers’ Committee in November 2024. As Development Associate, she supports fundraising and donor engagement efforts through data management, event planning, and campaign strategy.
Ms. Derby graduated from Tufts University in May 2023 with a B.A. in Sociology and Civic Studies. Prior to joining the Committee, she worked as Marketing and Development Associate for Women Changemakers for Education. Throughout her college career, Ms. Derby interned at Free Minds Book Club & Writing Workshop and served as Teaching Assistant for formerly incarcerated students through the Tufts Prison Initiative.
