Olivia Fajardo joined the Washington Lawyers’ Committee in August 2023 as a paralegal for the prisoners’ rights and policing abuse teams. In this role, she supports the litigation and advocacy efforts focused on conditions of confinement in the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and DC Department of Corrections and on police misconduct in the DMV region.
Ms. Fajardo graduated from Amherst College in 2023 with a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology. Prior to joining the Committee, she interned at the University Network for Human Rights and researched equity and civil rights in the Stereotypes and Prejudice psychology lab at Amherst.
