The Washington Lawyers’ Committee Announces Two New Members to its Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs (“WLC”) announced two new members to its Board of Directors.

For more than 55 years, the Committee has been on the front line of civil rights work, fighting discrimination, repairing the damages of historic racial inequity, and breaking down barriers to opportunity. The mission is reflected in the new members in terms of diversity and expertise.

“I am thrilled to welcome Chantale Fiebig and Rebecca Rizzo to our Board,” said Joanne Lin, WLC executive director. “Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman have been active pro bono partners in WLC’s policing and racial justice work.”
